The Store Sales Representative will have primary responsibility for quarry customers and contract drilling customers. However, the responsibilities of this position will evolve to effectively adapt to changing business conditions and customer requirements.
Regardless of such evolution, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Grow sales and market share.
Develop sales on a direct basis.
Develop and implement a strategy to achieve the growth and sales targets.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with established customers through close management of the accounts and attention to their needs.
Assess and define customer applications so that the correct product can be represented.Ensure integrity in the application of the products.
Ensure adequate customer product support, by working closely with the Branch and Service Manager.
Plan, organize and administer equipment demonstrations as per set procedures.
Start-up new and rental fleet equipment.
Communicate Administrative activities and work together to grow our business.
Prepare necessary information at the request of the Branch Management Team.
Maintain a high level of product knowledge with the capacity to develop a solid understanding of our business culture.
Act on behalf of peer group members in their absence as and when called upon to do so either by design or by circumstance.
Participate in Employee Development programs including product and application training, business and personal development.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
The successful candidate should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, or the equivalent years of related experience and/or training.
Five years of practical related experience in Customer Service and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A minimum of 5 years of practical related experience in the mining or construction equipment field and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram or schedule form.
Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to demonstrate leadership characteristics through fostering a team environment.
Demonstrate a desire for upward mobility.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate level knowledge of email software; word processing software; spreadsheet software and Contact Management systems.

1. Extensive travel is required in this position.
Prepare and submit quotations and negotiate sales contracts in accordance with company guidelines.
Discretionary price setting within established limits.
Discretionary flexibility in regards to travel and entertainment in accordance with overall company policy and budget.
